Flower motive, mini tapestry

With your request of feedback, I have just opened The Pattern, I have not had a chance up till now. There is no measurements for the block sizes, as I have a lot of experience I will be able to work it out just by measuring the paper pattern, and even then they are not in even measurements, but there are a number of people out there that I don’t think would cope with that sort of system as they are not even in imperial measurements.
The first sentence of the appliqué directions is very confusing. There is no reference on materials you need for backgrounds A,B,F,orH.
